So my travelling partner has had to back out of our plans and I'm still planning on going ahead and escaping the UK. Wondering if anyone is interested in/looking for a travel buddy. Planning on flying out around the end of September 2013. Wanna see the sights and experience Australia, but also want to work for a bit.

Yeah am starting in Perth too as my family are there.. So can save money for a bit but after that def wanna go off and do my own thing.. Don't really have a plan from there though as of yet! Have you booked your flight yet? Am struggling to find the best deals and don't want to end up spending loads more on a flight than I need to :s

I'm looking for flights around the 20th September. Prices Flying from Manchester are about £600. Think they're less if you stop At more airports. That's cool that you have family over there, where you thinking of headed from Perth?

I was thinking about strating in Cairns and working my way down the east coast and eventually across to Perth but still unsure where best to start.
Haylee i assume thats a one way flight and £600 sounds like a fairly good price. Do you know if there's a set amount of funds you need to show if you fly one way to prove you can get home?
hey paul. yeah, thats a one way ticket. i think you have to have proof of funds for your flight home but not sure how much. ive found the cheapest tickets are flying to Perth.
