Is Chang Mai cheaper than Bangkok?
I want cheap, but I want a pastel colored clinic that looks like a day care center.
I am scared of dental clinics.
But I need to fix this before I go to a FIRST world city.
I don't want to head back to Bangkok or Chiang Mai,
so I am wondering if other cities have the same safe and trustworhy service.
Like the South of Thailand.
or Udon Thani? If its not Bangkok or Chiangmai then might as well do it in Laos???
udon has couple places, mid price for root canal, one price. udon is medical choice for people from vientianne. i use a clinic of girlfriend's friend. had crown done for half price of one of big hospitals, and the dentist is the in house dentist at the hospital and works at clinic for half price. had root canal at another, before discovering new place for me, paolo charged me fair price, for 3 root molar, only negative, she would only do one root at a time, so 3 trips. didn't understand that. but all was fine.
some clinics have double pricing, in which case just go to paolo or aek hospital for same higher price, assured good service. try 'udonmap' for more info on udon and medical options.
no cheap rooms in udon thani
I may head to Chiang Mai...
any cheap rooms in Phuket or Krabi...
I get the 100 baht rooms in BKK and Chiang Mai.
Is Chang Mai cheaper than Bangkok?
UDON THANI? is there a difference.
What about Phuket? Is it more expensive?
I would really need to have local friends.
They always charge foreigners with a different rate?
Would you do something like a root canal in Vientiane?
Is 7,000 baht too expensive?Thanks
I lived in Thailand for a couple of years and never had any problems with Thantakit Dental in BKK. Had 2 wisdom tooth extractions there. Very professional dentists and were never pushy in upselling. Be very cautious in picking a dental place. You wouldn't wanna end up with a much bigger problem.
