Morocco adventure holiday

Hi all,

Hi Ringo

That's easy.

The little village of Merzouga, at the foot of Erg Chebbi, has the highest dunes in the country and there is plenty of opportunity to hire ski's, boards and quads.

You'll probably fly into Marrakech, which is a ten hour drive from Merzouga. If you can, hire a 4x4 in Marrakech. A good one costs about 1,200 to 1,400dhs a day.

Marrakech will keep you busy on the party front. Biggest and best know club is the Pasha (as in Ibiza etc). If you are intent on partying stay in the New Town, as the medina goes to bed a bit earlier!

hey guys dont forget to visit the south of the kingdom of ùorocco it looks really awesome thee for such things and have nice trip and enjoy

hello Ringo

you're welcome to Morocco and i wish you an enjoyable trip over here.

it's better if you fly into Fes and from there you can start your trip or may be into Tanger and then down to the south via Chefchaouan, Fes, Mekness, Merzouga, Marrakesh, Taroudant, Agadir, Tiznit, Essaouira, Safi, El jadida, Casablanca, Rabat...etc; indeed there're a lot of places to visit in Morocco ad a lot of things to do as well.

the sandboarding is available in Merzouga desert and the camel trips too; besides the Quad and 4x4 car driving in the dunes too. about partying; you can try it in Marrakesh as there're a lot of clubs for that reason and Pasha is the best so far.

you'll be around the Khénifra region then drop me a line to take you to the monkeys forest and springs.

greetings from Morocco
Rachid
peace & hugs

Ps:if you need any kind of help drop me a line and you're welcome.

cheers for the help everyone, I just booked my flights into Marakesh on the 4th of April so now its time to start planning the rest of the trip. Any suggestions on where I should fly out of if I have about 13 days to travel around. I will probablly try and spend a lot of that time on the coastal regions.

As stated in my last post, I land in Marrakesh on the 4th of April. I think I will spend a couple of days there just checking out the city possibly doing a camel ride/ three day tour. From there I plan to head to Essaouira and spend a few days relaxing on the beach. Then I may head on to El Jadid and then Cassablanca where I fly out on the 15th. Does any one have any must do things in that region? should I try and make it out to Rabat or Fes?
Cheers again.

hello

that's a good plan; try to visit Oualidia and Safi on your way from Essaouira to Casablanca and try surfing in that part of the coast as well, and try to make it to Fes via Rabat and Mekness; in Mekness try to visit Volubilis and Moley Idriss Zerhoun as they are good spots for sightseeing. and if you'll have much time then try it up to Chefchaouan to make some hiking nearby the mountains there.

for a camel trip; i think it's better if you make it to Merzouga as it has wonderful dunes and landscapes via Ouarzazate and the Todra gorges, in this case you need to be careful with false guides around.

if you need any kind of help drop me a line or call me at -snip-; i don't know if the number will be shown but if not then email me via a PM and i'll help you as much as I can.

take care
greetings
Rachid
peace & hugs
