Can I go on holiday from South Africa to the UK??

Can I go on holiday from South Africa to the UK if im blacklisted there??
I went on a working holiday visa to the UK from South Africa. I've been back home for almost two years. I had to leave suddenly and i tried to cancel my cellphone contract I took out numerous times and I said I had no problem paying back what I owed for termination of the contract. Even after arriving home I attepmted making contact with them but had no response from them. I want to go on holiday to visit family but am worried I will not be allowed into the country. What steps do I take from South Africa to see where i stand e.g maybe a police check, a credit check, or a person to phone. I need to know what the steps are I take from this side? I really need advice as I dont want to be a criminal in a country where the situation is not really my fault.

I don't think you'd be blacklisted over a phone bill to be honest... companies tend to write off certain accounts after a while, and not report them in to the government. Even if they did, I sincerely doubt the government/immigration would do anything with that.

Maybe if the amount was very very high the company would report it, but surely they would have gotten in touch with you directly some other way before that...
