I recntly travelled with Easyjet, I was booked on a flight from Gibraltar to London Gatwick and my flight was cancelled due to weather conditions.
The Gibair staff did not give any information but eventually we were told to go to customer services.
We were told the flight had been diverted to Malaga and we would have to make our own way to Malaga as transport would not be provided. Three other flights with different airlines were also cancelled but they were provided with a coach to Malaga at no extra cost.
A taxi would have cost me 140 Euros and I did not have the funds so I was offered another flight on the following Friday 18th Feb.
When I finally managed to return to the UK I found I had more expenses as I had to pay two extra days for car parking at £9 a day, I have also lost two days pay from work and the cost of several phone calls.
This is the first time I have ever used Easyjet and I don't think I will ever use this company or recommend them to anyone again. I feel I was treated very badly and it seemed like we just dumped in Gibralter with no-one to give any help or advice. I have never had this treatment or major problems from any other airline.
