Sounds like u r a fine companion for me... I'm 28, female from Malaysia.
I'm not considering clubbing too. My World Youth Day trip starts on 8th August, will fly in to Madrid from Malaysia then travel to Gibraltar for Youth Arise International. Returning to Madrid on 15th for WYD until my friends' departure on 24th. After that, I'm considering either to travel with my friends to Barcelona... Or see the world, the history, the scenery, the culture. Haha. Rome is a place I'd like to go. But I'm on budget... How much do you think I need? I read about the Eurail pass...

India would be a better option in your list.
Mansoon (July to Nov) will be a perfect season and a reason to travel in India.
3-4 weeks would be a short time if you really want to explore the most in India..
India is a blend of nature, culture, diverse religions, and regions..
You have Himalayans in the north, palaces & deserts in the west, forests in the east, cultural heritages in the south, backwaters in kerala, beaches in goa and pondicherry, Piligrimages in the southern india, western n easter ghats for hiking/trekking, etc..
It would be a long lasting list in the to visit places..
Budget wise it would be ideal, no visa issues, inexpensive and worth for every money you spend..
