America, Europe, Bahamas and Indonesia

At the moment i am in the stages of planninga trip to a few diffrent places around the world.
I have applied an expression of intrest for an exchange program to America in the early months of 2013 and this should cost me $7000 including all expenses including flight to london. I was thinking of spending a month and a half within Europe travelling to places like greece, paris, rome and itally. After this i want to go spend two weeks in the Bahamas possibly and then moving onto two weeks in Bali.
I was wondering if anyone hd any advice to any changes in this or perhaps costing of accomidation and any other costs in places. Not including airfares.
Thanks
David

Hello David,

I live in the Bahamas and have visited all the countries you expect to visit. I can tell you a bit about the Bahamas. First it can be very expensive, but you can visit on a budget. Try booking a private condo through -snip-, you might expect to pay approximately $100 per night for a nice place on the beach. Off the beach you may get something for $60/night. Hotels sometimes have extra taxes and cleaning charges, so be aware. Restaurants are expensive, so try to purchase most of your groceries in advance through us at -snip-. Our prices are better than the Supermarkets in tourist areas because we shop with wholesalers and get volume discounts. If you can, make sure you visit some other Bahamas Islands such as the Exumas. The real Bahamas is in our unspoiled out-islands.
