I fly to Cairns 26th September and travel down the east coast to be at Sydney for xmas and new year... Sydney new year books up very very quickly (as i'm finding out now) so i'd suggest booking that, even if you just book it on here you only need to pay the deposit, atleast you'll have it sorted
I'll be in Sydney on NYE. So looking forward to it!

I leave for melbourne on the 14th of August and will be in Sydney for NYE. I had to call places direct before myself and my mate were able to get in anywhere. We are staying at WakeUp and it cost around £200 for a weeks acom so book asap!
Anyone who is in Melbourne in August? Im travelling alone so welcome any company!!
