At 31 I'm now officially too old! (for a WHV)

1t has indicated that this thread is about Canada/Working Holiday Programs

With regards to living in Canada i'm not sure, it would depend on your trade or if you have any qualifications that they are looking for on the proper immigration method, however this is a long, laborious and expensive process and if you are a traveller not really the point.
What are your thoughts about working in the US? Then you can travel to Canada - the H2B Visa for the USA, as far as i am aware has no upper age limit, the thing with it is you have to go for a specific job and only work in that job - generally hospitality based - you can stay for more than one season though and renew the visa for a new place. The jobs are pretty easy to find online if your interested.
Another option could be to teach English abroad - if you have a degree its easier, again you wouldn't be able to work in Canada, but it gives you more travelling options and you can earn good money in Asia and there is no age limit.
Hope this helps, good luck and keep travelling!

Hey, thanks so much for this. I'm not too keen on teaching abroad (kids should not have that inflicted upon them!) but the H2B visa sounds ideal. if I'm totally honest, I'd much rather work in the states than Canada so it could work out perfectly! Thanks so much for this info!
