drive others cars cross country.

Looking for opportunities in transporting others cars across US..or anywhere in US or Canada. Does anybody have any information or experience in this type of endeavor? thanks, john

Hi John, you can take a train across US or Canada. I send you a message with a link. You can take a look.

If you search google for drive cars across country it will pull up some sites.

I had a friend do it many times. She had several coast to coast trips which she enjoyed since the pick up and delivery dates gave her the opportunity to sight see along the route. Her other trips tho were hit or miss. On one, the car developed a problem that needed to be repaired -- but the part was not available out in the middle of no where. She ended up staying in a little town for 4 days (over a weekend) waiting for it to be repaired. On another cross country trip she dropped off one car in Chicago expecting to pick up another going to Seattle. In Seattle she was due to pick up another car going to LA. But in Chicago the car she was to pick up did not materialize. She had a choice -- go home -- fly to LA -- or wait for another car going west. Luckily she had family connections in Chicago and stayed with them for a week until a car came available going to Tucson. From there she took a bus to LA.

She says you must be flexible -- have a clean driving record -- be of age (min 23 yrs old) -- and have the money for deposits and unforeseen delays. She said that she hooked up with one company that used her frequently until they converted to car haulers (New York to Florida).
