I'm hoping to book a 6-8 week trip around SE Asia, possibly going mid-June.
Hoping to take in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam but am very flexible with travel plans. Would be great to meet anyone who is thinking along the same lines as me and perhaps travel over together?
I'm a young at heart 30 -year old female. Love seeing new things, meeting new people and am very sociable.

hey there, i'm a 23-year-old female singaporean and i'm thinking of travelling to the uk entirely by land (mostly train). i'm following recommended routes by seat61.com.
will probably take a train from singapore to bangkok, then by bus to saigon, then again by train to hanoi and then to beijing etc. i'm starting in august.
perhaps our travelling plans are compatible since we're both exploring the SE asia region? i don't think i'll be spending 6-8 weeks there though. i intend to just briefly touch each stop.

Tell me the dates, I am living here in singapore, so asiatrip girl, just tell me the dates and i might join you, but rocketeer, i don't think i have the luxury of time...mostly i'll have 4 days max for thailand, 4 days for cambodia and laos
Maybe we can all meet here in Singapore, since rocketeer and me are here already, what do you think?

no worries about time, i'm only touching each stop briefly. in fact, i'm only staying over at each location if i cannot continue my journey on the same day. my goal is to get from singapore to london entirely by land transport, mostly train. here's my plan so far:
s'pore-bangkok by ktm
bangkok-siem reap & phnom penh by train, tuk tuk/taxi and bus
phnom penh-saigon by bus
saigon-hanoi by train
my journey after hanoi will be beyond SE region (beijing, moscow, etc.)
i'm open to staying over in each location (e.g. visit angkor wat temples etc.) but no more than 1-2 nights per location. let me know how this itinerary sounds to you?
