hey peeps im looking at antler casual bags.i going travelling for a year just dont know how big a bag i will need.thinking to buy some clothes when out there is this a good idea and try take little as possible?

im thinking of going to thailand first? i want to do thailand oz and new zealand
ok then, i would reccomend doing what u said to start with, the thing i found is, wen i went 1st time, i packed evrythink for every country, but u dont need jeans and going out tops in thia,or shoes really lol, so they just sit in ur backpack, wer in oz n stuff to get into clubs or if ur going out for something to eat its nice to have jeans ect.
what i find helps, pack ur bag, get a good mate to come over, get him to run through it with u, n ask do u really need that, wen will u wear that ect, or just ask urself that.n ur probs half ur bag
this is just prefrence but i think most poeple will agree

i would love to do thailand oz and new zealand just dont know how much money to take will try and work out in oz for sure.really want to go to thailand aswell though.
do it mate, thailand if done properly is durt cheap.and oz will be ok if u work, around a 100 a month is gd,but theres ways to make it cheaper, e.g tenting. never eat out, cook pasta thats cheap, and is filling ect
i been thinking bout tenting.u suggest get a tent while there? and is it ok to tent on beaches or do u need permission?
ooops soz mate, i said 100 i ment a 1000,all depends how u live out there, eating,going out,travel round ect. but if u tent out its much cheaper,i think u do need permission but i never got it, wen i did get caught they said if i catch u here agin wer fine u, so i didnt go bk to that spot or went to a hostel,its nice to have a balance,the tents ur own freedom,but after a while can get lonely.
after a while i brought a 900 dollar car, u dont need insurance over there, u automaticaly get 3rd party,me and a friend went halfs,was a big estate, folded down seats made a double bed, used roll matts and slleping bags,and parked in car parks, and laybyes to sleep,that is by far the most comfortable cheap way to travel,get a little gas cooker,then u got ur own free will, come and go from places as u please,and then sell the car for same money or bit less, and uved saved urself a fortune.
thats my biggest tip, but depends if u got enough for a car, or if u meet someone u can go halfs with.
