Sorry Andy, I dont know any hostels near Bondi, but I would reccomend looking at all the reviews on hostelworld.com. That's how I decided on the right hostel for me. I'm going to go to Bondi for Chirstmas Day, the beach party is supposed to be amense.

I'm going to be in and around Sydney over new year (wakeup hostel) before deciding on our next move - will be up the coast early dec if anyone's about then?!
we're arriving in October so could well be needing to find work by the time Jan comes around, but as we all know plans are never real plans when it comes to traveling!!

I'm also around Sydney at that time. Think I'm going to set up camp there for a while. Plan is probably to get a job and rent somewhere for 6 months. Is anyone else planning on doing that sort of thing?
