3 Nights in Las Vegas!

Hi all ,

Kat & Keli
Glad you are going to visit Vegas. June is not our hottest month, so it should be warm but not HOT!! everyday. I am going to assume you both are over 21. You can enjoy Vegas being under 21, but you cannot drink, gamble or visit our dance clubs if you are 21. And yes they do check ID thoroughly.

We have many 'must sees' and many are FREE!. Here is a for freebies. Bellagio Fountains, Mirage Volcano, Sirens of the TI show, Fremont Street Experience, Atlantis Show Forum Shops Caesars Palace, Aquarium Forum Shops, Masquerade Village Sky Show at The Rio Hotel. I have photos of most of these in my gallery. You get a great view of Las Vegas from the Top of the Stratosphere Hotel. Sadly not free, but perhaps worth your money. Many enjoy the view from the top of the Eiffel Tower at Paris Hotel as well. You are going to have to plan well to see everything in 3 days.

Send me a PM a few days before you arrive and I will try to get you a free show. Yes, we do have penny slots in Vegas. Good luck with your planning.

Hey

Me and my friend are also for Vegas, but in July for 4 days. We have both been here before (for a couple of days wit Trek America) so we know what to expect, but really cant decide where to stay.

There is just too much choice. We would like a mid - high range hotel probably on the strip, with a good day time pool vibe and as we are both in our 20's, good access to clubs and shopping etc.

Any advise would be fab.

Thanks

Kerri

Okay, the mega-resorts (in the high price range) are Caesar's Palace, MGM Grand, Mirage, Mandalay Bay, Paris Las Vegas, Bellagio, Venetian, New York-New York, Wynn, Four Seasons and the new Cosmopolitan.

For a good mid-high range hotel with a good pool vibe for 20-30 year olds, I recommend the Hard Rock, the Rio, the Palms, Hooters Hotel, Harrah's, the Tropicana, or Bally's, and Treasure Island. My top choices would be the first three listed, both for the pools and because they all have great clubs either at their hotel (or in the case of the Rio, directly across the street at the Palms).

For the best shopping close-by, stay at Harrah's (across the street from Caesar's and the whose indoor shopping mall is the best in town, followed by the Venetian's. Both of these are a bit pricey, so the main mall down the street is also an option. There is also a pretty good indoor mall near the old Aladdin (not sure what it is called now--but it is next door to Paris Las Vegas). I personally stay at Bally's when I'm in townin the winter (spend my summers at the Mandalay Bay with its great pools and wave pool and lazy river). Bally's is directly connected via an indoor mall to Paris Las Vegas on the opposite side from the Aladdin.

The best restaurants are either the one in the Eiffel Tower replica at Paris Las Vegas or at the Bellagio (best overall, but expensive), at Caesar's Palace, or at the MGM, but the Rio has the best buffets anywhere in town in my opinion. My son recently stayed at the Cosmopolitan and loved the hotel, but hated the club setup (says it is seriously out of control and can't handle the crowds it gets).

Anyway, I hope you find a great place and have a great time. And, if in doubt, contact vegasmike6, who is the absolute expert on all things Vegas.

Hey guys,

Very glad to hear that it's not going to be too hot, we can definitely deal with warm, and we are 22 so all good on the drinking and gambling front. Your photos look amazing vegasmike, you have so many! And thank you for the offer i think we will definitely be PM'ing you for some deals

Kerri, we went with Ceaser's Palace for our stay, which going off what Calcruzer says was a good choice! The Rio buffets are sounding great, i do love a good buffet

We want to see a cirque du soleil type show while we are there as well, which one would you guys recommend?

Kali

I was out there last year around the same time you're going. I stayed at the Venetian. THAT HOTEL IS AWESOME!!! I did most of my partying at Jet, Aria, The Palms, and another place near the MGM. There's really no bad place to party there. I'm sure you all are going to have a blast. Gambling... even if you're not experienced the dealers are patient and help you with your "Casino Etiquette".

I've been to Vegas several times and this last one although the shortest was the best! Stayed at the new cosmopolitan and WOW the hotel is peerrty awesome I mean the room is so nice and I just love random decor floor to floor. I saw the "old Vegas" ehh wasnt too impressed I think i'll stay on the strip like I use to especially with the $25 cab ride one way! It is going to be very hot so your going to have to deal with that. I would definitely take some time preferably at night to sit and watch the bellagio water shows, it gives me goose bumps. I hear the mirage wave pool is very cool and as far as night life its Vegas cant go wrong but pure roof top its very nice. I'm doing 8 weeks 10k miles, so many cities so many places!!
