Just about to book a hostel for when we arrive in Perth on the 16th June but confused as to what time we get there.
Flight times are always stated in local times, so it will be 4.40am Perth time. You'd probably have to pay a full night's accommodation for that night (ie the previous night) in Perth if you wanted to check in that early in the morning. Just make sure that the hostel has 24 hour check in.
Also, 4:40 is the landing time, so by the time you have gotten off the plane, collected you luggage and cleared customs, etc, etc, you probably won't have to wait long until the shuttles or buses have started running if there is none there at that time.
