Inca Trail in January.

Hi,

Well if you like the rain then you can do it in January. It is better to do it in May, Oct, or Nov.

Ok, thanks but it doesn't really answer my question. Due to my travel itinerary, I am going to be in Peru in January, I am wondering how bad the rainy season is. I've tries to search internet for information but can't really get that much. If there is anyone that has been in Peru in January and could let me know...

January is considered rainy season, http://www.aboutcuzco.com/weather, is not dangerous but you have to be prepared for rainy, despite of the rainy the landscapes are really wonderful.

I made the Inca Trail last January, and though it was the season, it only rain a little bit on the last day. I know we were extremely lucky, but the experience is so unique, I say yo do it anyway, it´s not to miss, even if it is raining. Also, guides and tours are extremely well prepared for any situation
