I'm looking at going to Aus in November, but the rest of your journey isn't really on my route.
I'm a first time solo traveller myself, kind of nervous ;x
To be honest I have just been looking at the RTW that are on STA travel. Need to really look into it this week!
Where are you heading to first in Aus? I'm also going to be going on my own and am a bit nervous! I have been to Thailand and China before but always with someone else!

Well i'm either going to go sydney to cairns, or sydney to cairns
i'm thinking of doing an escorted tour though to save travelling from city to city alone
depending on dates and whether or not i can convince someone to come with me
never really travelled before, nevermind alone

Hi Girls, I'm going to SE Asia in November (arriving in Bangkok on Nov 21st). I'm planning on spending 3 months there in total before going to Oz in Feb. The general route that I'm taking is Northern Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, then back to Thailand to spend a few weeks in the Islands!
I'm also going on my own - I agree it's nerve-wrecking (I've never traveled alone before), but I'm looking forward to the challenge too!
Would be great to meet up along the way if our paths cross :-)
