Hi all, we are a group of students and have some vacations coming up. We would really like to utilize the time not on the studies, but on some good vacation trip. As none of us have been to Canada, we are planning to visit Montreal. We have been gathering information and have consulted the necessary informational centers for the same. Since, we have would like to make this a good one, we would like to seek some advices on making the trip a better experience.
Asking what to do in Montreal is like asking how high is the sky,with thousands of restaurants,bars and points of interest you wont be disappointed,for general happening spots Crescent st.area,St Denis st area,old port area,the underground city area(especially in winter)St Catherine st from Atwater to St Denis,for green spaces the mountain in the center of town is all park with spectacular views from various look out points..Google would be your best friend in the planning of events but just about anywhere downtown will be a good time.
