Hi,
Hi Phani, we have it in our terms that people shouldn't be promoting their sites or businesses on Travellerspoint. Adding the ability to have signatures would send a totally wrong message. I do see your point, but when it comes down to it we just prefer to have authentic travellers answering questions, so have little reason to encourage other behaviour.
This is exactly the reason we don't have signatures. They'd be used by all manner of travel companies to advertise their websites, giving them the incentive to post just to post and get that url out there, rather than in order to give useful replies to help people. Plus, signatures would clutter up the very sparse and useful look of these forums, where you don't need to do needless extra scrolling to skip all that. (Especially regular members would be annoyed by the constantly repeatedly filler lines which they've seen a hundred times over already.)
There's exactly two (free) ways you can link to your website here on travellerspoint. One is by the website field in your , which will start to show up once you've contributed enough to be considered a Full Member. The other is by (which will also help with becoming a Full Member.

ok then..., I'll contribute quality content and post my authentic travel experiences on the forums, wherever necessary. Thanks Peter and Sander for the info.
