I'm desperate to go to india but it is dragging the price up? Do we miss it out for now and just do south east asia, oz, nz and fiji. I'm already compromising on South America.
Any advice?

I had the same decision to make when I did my first RTW trip in 2004.
We really wanted to visit India but the additional stop off on our ticket bumped up the price.
My advice - GO TO INDIA! You will not get this culture shock in SE ASIA. When you're on the flight 'leaving' India, the only thoughts going through your head are 'WOW'!!!!!
Seriously, dont miss this destination off your list.
I'm sure people will disagree with this, but trust me.
