travelling europe for 2 months

i am thinking of travelling europe for several months in may/june using an inter rail pass but am not 100% sure how much to save up. can anyone give me any advise as to how much i would spend on living costs e.g food, accomodation.

If you're staying in hostels, do some sightseeings and do most of the cooking yourself (buy the groceries at the supermarket), you should have about €60-€70 per day. If you want to eat out, or go out at night etc, then €80-€100 per day.

Depending on where in Europe you go, prices vary too. Scandinavian countries are in general really expensive, and so are most of west of Europe. Eastern Europe would be cheaper, and similarly, the Mediterranean countries would be cheaper.

Like I said in another thread Greece - with some problems for the moment - Bulgaria, Croatia are cheap nice destinations. Enjoy your trip emiply. If you want any advices about Romania just ask. I let you know anything you need.
