Hi,
I am thinking of spending the night at Delhi aiport, as I arrive late (close to midnight) and leave early (7am), which leaves me close to no sleeping if I have to go through customs, get my bags, find a taxi and hotel, wake up and be there in time for the next flight.
Anyone ever spend the night at the airport. Are a few shops open, is it safe etc. etc.
Any help is much appreciated!

It is absolutely safe Michael to spend the night at Delhi airport!!
I have done that before some years back, it is even better and modernised now, so you can hang around and the shops too will be open. By the time, u get ur bags, it will be already 1 AM or 2 AM, so not much time will be left before u take the free shuttle bus between the domestic and international terminals. This shuttle bus run usually every 30 minutes, check the timings when u reach the airport.

Guess it's just a matter of waiting a bit, some reading and sleeping instead of rushing things to a hotel and back.
