Hi all!
hey mate, just out of a 7year relationship myself and took myself to OZ for 2months. hahaha. So goodluck. I plan to do 3 weeks in europe this feb or march. im off to swiss this week with work and it seems so expensive. il let u know. i think a 1000dollars might be a bit tight if im honest. im from ireland and if you go to dublin.....its about 9 oz dollars for a pint and that would be a cheap place.
Places such as norway and sweden or my favourite in the world....haven't been to denmark yet....but they are also expensive. il see if i can dig out some info for u
If you are partying every day expect to spend something like 100+ EUR per day.
At the current exchange rate (which might change significantly until you go) 100 EUR is around 155 AUD.
So with a budget of 10,000 AUD (excluding flight tickets to Europe) you are good for around 2 months.
Within two months you can reasonably plan to see and party yourself around 3-4 countries or roughly 12 different locations.
Where the best partying is depends heavy on the time of the year you are going, so I would recommend that you give us some idea. Do you plan to go as soon as possible, hitting Europe in Feb/March? Or do you intend to wait until May/June?
Thanks for trhe info so far guys. Am looking at heading over somewhere around August of give/ take a month. Have been to Marmaris Turkey before and that was great!
Well, if you come in July/August you'll be spoiled for choice!
If you liked Marmaris in Turkey may I suggest flying to Istanbul (great city, must see if you have not been already) and slowly going north? Bulgaria has some great inexpensive party spots along the Black Sea, same can be said for Croatia and Hungary (Budapest and Balaton lake).
You could finish your tour off with the Octoberfest in Munich at the end of September/beginning of October.
There is also good partying in Spain, around the Costa Brava (Lloret de Mar) and on the Balearic Islands. This will be the more expensive choice. But you can easily combine Spain with a trip to Morocco, which is significantly cheaper.
Hope this gave you some ideas!
