Hey there I am the same as you but ill be going End of November begin of December.
Hi I am Dani I am 27 years I am the same in your situation as all my friends have settled down etc, as much as I want to go before hand money wise ill have more then enough saved for November / December as much as I hate the wait it will be worth it!
So if we are out there the same time we can meet up as Ill stay in Sydney up to New years then ill move on thats my plan as I want to do some Farm work to get my 2nd year visa.

I'm Abi, i'm 31 and i have a residents visa to Oz and am planning on going out sometime in July 2010... i don't want to have to get a job as soon as i arrive (I think i will probably end up settling in Sydney but i'm not sure yet) . My plan it to fly into Darwin and meander down towards Sydney but going via Uluru... i would like to get a vehicle and do things kind of rough and natural, camping, outdoors, fires, beer and casual work along the way.. if you think you might be a around the same place at the same time and like to sound of this sort of travel it would be great to hear from you!

Hey Abi,
My plan is to hit Sydney around July / August time and after a week or two of chilling out find some seasonal work. Once i've done enough for a second WHV then I want to travel, probably by renting a camper van (buying a vehicle seems more expensive and hassle with the paperwork). If you're in the Sydney area between July and October I guess we could end up crossing paths, maybe go for a few beers or whatever!
