Hey, i went to the full moon party a couple of years of ago.
Orginally we were staying a far way from haad rin but we moved accommodation to be closer to the party. Alot of the accommodation shows as fully booked when you look online but we hired a scooter and wandered around all the bungalows in haad rin. We found a bungalow pretty easily and not too over priced im sure we only stayed 3 nights.
Coral bungalows is the most party orientated place to stay we went to a couple of parties there.
Hope this helps. Truck taxis do run from other parts of the island to haad rin also.
