I'm looking at ticket prices on edreams.net from Phnom Penh to Singapore/other locations and the prices are ridiculously cheap (in relation to other sites). I'm a little skeptical so I was wondering if anyone has ever purchased a ticket on edreams.net If so, are they legit??
Yup, they're a scam. If it sounds too good to be true, it almost always is.

Thanks Sander. I just knew it. They had a flight from Phnom Penh to Singapore for 65 $... I was like haha
The reviews are quite horrid. Wow! thanks again.

Just wondering, has anyone ever flown with jetstar (jetstar.com)?? they also have very low fares from cambodia to singapore so I was just wondering if they are reliable and legit? I researched online and I can't find any skeletons in their closet. Any suggesstion/feedback will be more than appreciated. Merci beaucoup.
Best regards,
bakpakk
i have never flown before on Jetstar but as far as I know from my guest's story, Jetstar sometimes delays or cancel flight, so it will affect you, is this true?
Yeah, they're legit; the cattle-class brand of Qantas. Scraping the bottom of the barrel for quality and service (at least for internal flights in Australia), but survivable.
Hi bakpakk:
this is Andreas of eDreams. If you found a deal for 65 $ for your trip, you should just buy it. It is in fact cheap and it is real.
eDreams is the second largest European online travel agency and takes its customers serious. With the thousands of tickets we sell every day it is always possible that a customer is not satisfied. This is why it is easy to find 10.500 entries in Google for eDreams+scam. For the same reason you also find 1.340.000 entries for expedia+scam - which does not at all mean that eDreams or Expedia provide a bad service. I advise you to get a more realistic picture at some more balanced online forums such as the one about eDreams at Tripadvisor
http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g1-i10702-k3482801-l25010757-EDreams_reliability-Air_Travel.html#25010757
eDreams has lots of offers, especially low cost airline offers, that other online travel agencies don't have and that are hard to find without an online travel agency like eDreams. This is why you quite often find offers on eDreams that appear rediculously cheap - but they are real. We do our best to fulfill our customers dreams - before a booking and even the more after the booking. Please don't hesitate to trust and enjoy our service.
Best regards,
Andreas

Budgedt airlines - I have flown with Qantas, Jetstar, Virgin Blue, Tiger Airways, Air Asia and Air AsiaX and can tell you there are two differences:
1. Qantas has wider seats (good if you're a real fatty arebuckle)
2. Meals are included on Qantas flights where applicable.
Other than one group of cabin crew who forgot to take their happy pills, I have never had any problem, the cabin staff have been friendly and very helpful, the flights are the same - you board, you sit, you read/sleep/watch movies/whatever. you get fed and watered, you land.
I wouldn't pay extra to fly with an airline - the budget ones are fine. Nothing wrong with them.
Edited to add: Those budget airlines listed are all legitimate airlines, no scams. If an airline re-schedules a flight then yes it can be a pain in the you know what, but hey - you paying less and saving more.

I will tell you what I know about eDreams, it has ruined my weekend so far and let's hope that is all... for what I know it could also ruin my trip to Buenos Aires, but let's keep our fingers crossed.
I was trying to book a ticket to Buenos Aires on thursday through edreams; when I thought I had done this, the website informed me "sorry, your payment didn't get through" no transaction etc. failed blah blah
that was all, end of story
Next morning, still planning to go to Buenos Aires, I book a ticket through netflights.com (bona fide site, no problems, as usual): all OK, booking, paying, confirmation emails, everything normal, I always book online, never had any problems.
Suddenly, about 14 hours after my transaction failed with eDreams, and an hour after I HAD BOOKED MY TICKET , there comes a (single) cheap-looking confirmation email that my flight was booked through eDreams. They had decided that, after all, they wanted to take my money, some 14 hours after the original transaction had failed, now I find myself with this dilemma, I check online and it is FULL OF HORROR STORIES ABOUT EDREAMS. But guess what, I contact Edreams, they tell they cannot contact Air Europa until Monday. This was last night. So this morning I decide to contact Air Europa, and they tell me that yes, they are open to deal with agencies such as Edreams, all day on Saturdays until 6 pm. So the chap from Edreams was lying through his teeth. Now my credit card company has opened an investigation on the transaction and my card has been cancelled. I'm gutted and hope everything is OK as the ticket costs 700 quid. I'm gutted, it has never HAPPENED TO ME IN MY ENTIRE LIFE, this puts me off ever booking online again and my only online booking from now on will be 200 quid and less, otherwise I go through a travel agency, I prefer to pay 50 quid extra and not go through this type of stress.
E DREAMS -- AVOID AT ALL COSTS
THEY ARE FRAUDSTERS
AVOID, IT'S A SCAM
First time posters battling it out. Take both advice with a grain of salt I think.
