i would like to know on the train services from rishikesh to mumbai and the cost if possible. thanks
There seems to be no direct train from Rishikesh to Mumbai. However there is a train from Haridwar to Mumbai Bandra. Rishikesh and Haridwar is apart only about 45mnts by journey and plenty of transport.
Train No:9020. from Haridwar dep:12:50hrs and takes 39hrs 40mnts to reach Mumbai. Fare by the sleeper class is Rupees 464.-perhead.
More better option is : Take some transport (bus/train) from Haridwar to Delhi. From Delhi there are many trains including very fast trains to Mumbai.

From Rishikesh take a direct train or bus to New Delhi, from here you'll get a lots of superfast trains to Mumbai..

You should book train ticket as foreing quota as there could be seats available till the last day if you are not able to get a regular ticket on arrival at the station. Check at the station from where you an book it
