Europe trip

Hi,

With only 15 days and being on a honeymoon I would suggest you pick one country only.

As you already noticed it will be difficult to try and see everything, 4 countries in 15 days will be overkill.

However if you are determined to cram in as much as possible I would suggest going from Munich to Rome, visiting Munich, Salzburg, Venice, Florence and Rome. It would be a total whirlwind trip, but you could get a tiny glimpse of 3 countries that way.

I agree with Maia - that's a terribly aggressive itinerary for 15 days. I'm in love with Italy, so that would be #1 on my list. It's not in the least dangerous; where have you heard that it is? What parts of the country?

You can often save money through short-term apartment lets. Check out my favorite for Florence, Italy: florencehousing.it. We've used them three times and it's always been great. We also found a tiny studio apartment in Paris that was very affordable. There is usually a 2-3 night minimum stay with apartments, but not always.

If I was going on a 15 day honeymoon, I would stay four days in Paris, five days in Nice / Provence, then split the rest of the time between Rome, Florence, and Venice. That's still rushing things, but it's do-able without being overwhelming. Good luck!

Hi there, I agree that 4 countries in 15 days might be a bit too much. You should enjoy one or two countries so you don't have the stress of moving around and travelling. I would go with Austria and Italy, your idea of staying in an Austrian cottage sounds fantastic and perfect for your honeymoon. Italy is a great honeymoon destination too, I agree with JoyC's suggestion of Venice, Florence and Rome; all have beautiful scenery and architecture and fantastic restaurants.

Does your partner have any preferences?

Hope you have a lovely honeymoon.

Sarah
