Dear all,
Hi Willy,
Sorry to hear this. This booking was confirmed based on availability uploaded by you to one of our partners that supplies our budget accommodation listing area (). You have an agreement with this partner (most likely hostelworld/web reservations international or hostelbookers) and as such would have received both an email confirming the booking (most likely 2) as well as seeing your availability adjusted in the area where you normally maintain it.
These sites power bookings at well over 5000 sites (this is very common online), so I'm not surprised our name doesn't ring a bell as being a partner of yours, but clearly it's worrying to us that you would have missed the booking after uploading the availability, pricing and receiving the booking confirmations.
Feel free to the booking number if you can't find the details of your partnership with one of the above companies and I can have them get in touch with you to help explain things again. I also need the booking number to follow up on you refunding the customer for your mistake as per your agreement.
Sam
Hi Willy,
I responded to your email on July 2nd. I also asked our booking partner to get in touch with, and they informed me that they did so on July 3rd. Please check your junk mail folder, because obviously emails are going astray.
Cheers,
Eric
