Hey guys im travelling to singapour at start of sept then heading to thailand and stay till around oct. Just wondering what weather to expect and do you have any advice on what to take that will come in handy over there??

Sept-Oct is rainy season. Have a gore-tex type rain jacket and pack light. You don't need much in a hot climate. Buy anything you do need for less than at home.
