Best cities for shopping in the area around Antwerp/Belgium

Thanks for your suggestion. I have first-hand experience of shopping in London as I used to live there!! I have to say I do not like London though, although living in London and visiting London are very different from each other.

I get a free car with free petrol through work so I'm looking for somewhere in driving distance of Antwerp, rather than via train. I apologise because I should've mentioned that in my post.

Great shopping with a lot of alternative shops, and the awesome architecture (old and contempory) is a plus!

Amsterdam. Less than two hours from Antwerpen Centraal by train.

Thanks flyingbob. I was there last weekend - my best friend lives there so we don't often go shopping... and nor are we likely to!

Thanks for the tip, I'll remember it for when I go next. I'm still discovering many of the cities delights - although I wouldn't call shopping a delight!
