Here is an on all things Cambodia. Decide what you want to spend, then take a look at the listed hotels/GHs. I would then go over to tripadvisor and read what others have said about that hotel. I suggest you use the 'accommodation' option, top of this page. Select Cambodia, Siem Reap and start reading. This was highly rated in the under $50 range. This one .

Thanks for the input. Ill check with her this weekend about it because I just read that January is the most popular time to go there and hotels might be booked. Anyone have a favorite place to stay? I see like 30 places...
