Hello peeps! I still have time to become a student before leaving for my RTW trip in the coming year. I've heard that student discounts can save travelers a good bit in certain areas (at least in the past). Is that still the case today?
In general I'd say no, not worth bother. But it depends mostly on where you are headed and for how long in each place. Some continents are better than others.

No idea where all in the world you can get discounts. But in Chile you will save (a little bit) money in National Parks and some Tours/ Trips with student status.
