Subscribers are not receiving emails on new blog posts

My last two published blog entries have not sent out email requests. Is something going on with the email server? Do people have to resubscribe to my blog to get emails?

I suspect this could also be related to backdating the blog entries. (But it's only a suspicion, I don't know enough about the subscription system.)

Only the last 2 entries have not sent out emails. I have been backdating entries for the past several years and have not had any issues.

I'll have to check on what happened here. I can see clearly in our records that the last two entries didn't send anything and can't quickly see why. I should be able to have a look into this issue tomorrow morning though and mailouts should still be possible for those entries.

It worked this week!

I just clicked edit on the saved entry and then published via the publish button at the bottom of the page. Typically I preview the entry before publishing and change the posting date to match the travel date, so I'll try doing that next week and see if it causes any problems.
