I am heading to Oz in September alone and am really nervous about going by myself as had originally planned on going with friends who have back out of going. I plan on heading to Sydney first and then either up the east coast or onto Perth. Is there anyone else going in September? Or can anyone give me some advise on going?

I am heading to Oz alone either August/September time.
I am planning on flying to Sydney and then making my way to Cairns which I heard is really good for work.
I am hoping to meet up with people on here or if not then I am considering going with a company like Oz Intro.

Have you your flights booked yet? I have my visa got and booking my flights next week for the 1st week in September as flights are cheaper in September than August.
My plan is to go to Sydney for maybe a month and then go somewhere else for work. Where is Cairns? Is that on the east coast?
I would definitely prefer to go with someone than on my own

I'm planning on going out in early sept, looking at doing the ultimate oz arrival trip and staying in sydney for a bit then hope to be heading to perth early next year.
My visa is still going through but travelling alone so would be good to see what other people are doing and hopefully go with a travel buddy.

No not yet, I am still waiting for the all clear from my work and can't decide if I am going with Oz Intro or just flying solo.
Yeah I think it's near Perth.
I might think about September if the flights are cheaper.
Where are you flying from - I will probably be London as I have a friend there.

Im going with USIT (Think its the Irish version of ultimate oz) I would be flying from Ireland but I think most of the flights go to London first before going on a long flight.

STA are quite good but I was looking at them against the skyscanner website and there was about £100 of difference.
I also think it depends on where you are flying too as Sydney was much cheaper that Cairns.

would be great to get more info from u if ur keen to have a travel buddy ur plan sounds pretty simular to what im doing?!

Also i can't find the differences on ultimate oz for the 7,10 and 14 day packages they do in sydney apart from the price?? From what i can gather is if u arrive mid-week they find acommodation for u until the trip starts on the monday - i think??!!
