Definitely go to Laos, and go tubing was the best highlight of our 6 months south east asia trip.
Hello!
In August of this year, my boyfriend and I are planning a trip to South East Asia. We only have a month so want to get the best out of it. I wonder if anyone can give me any advice on planning? We definitely want to go to Vietnam, especially Halong Bay and Ho Chi Minh city, but we would also like to do Laos/Thailand aswell, can anyone suggest which is more worth a visit...Laos of Thailand? Neither of us has done this before so I'm not really sure where to start! Is it even feasible to do all three in a month and on a budget?
I've had a brief look at flights which seem to be around £600, can anyone recommend somewhere to get cheaper flights? Also, is about £2500 enough for flights, accommodation and spending money? Really appreciate any advice on this, places to go, accommodation, airlines...anything! Thankyou!
i prefer Thailand as it's really an amazing place just like paradise. You can dive.Banana boat, beach volleyball, undersea walk etc.Bati ya freak show more attractive, personally think that Bati James shopping is also a good choice, at least cheaper than Phuket and Bangkok, but where the market is not recommended on the water, now the price is too high.Nong nooch garden aslo worth to visit.
hope it helps have a nice trip
The Thailand ans Malaysia will be the best place for your holiday. Here you will find so many places to visit and lots of activities to do and also the food here is very delicious one.
Hi Milton,
I want to suggest you should spent a month on traveling in Indochina ( Vietnam, Lao, Cambodia). It's good and cheaper than the other trip. You can enjoy experience in both adventure and leisure.

Making your first trip to East or Southeast Asia? Wondering where to go?
Okay, I’ve spent significant time in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. I can weigh in on those places for you. I haven’t been to Macau, Laos, Burma, the Philippines, North Korea, or Indonesia yet – of them, I’ve heard great things about the Philippines and Indonesia in particular, but I can’t comment.
So, some thoughts about every country -
