Hey Guys,

This question is pretty much impossible to answer usefully as you've asked it here. It all depends on which countries you want to visit, how long you're going for, etc.

A RTW ticket is limited to 1 year; stringing single flights together you can travel for as long as you want. If you get a WHV anywhere and stay there for close to a year, then the RTW ticket gets less attractive, as you'd have to rush through your other destinations. It can still be a good deal, though, for example if you'd be coming from Europe and wanted to do a WHV in Australia, but on the way visit several places in North and South America, you could probably do that on a (oneworld) RTW ticket for cheaper than with any other option (and you could include Easter Island and Tahiti), and then you'd simply not use the final leg(s) from Australia back to Europe (there's plenty of cheap flights from Australia to SE Asia and from SE Asia to Europe). But that's mostly due to the South America - Oceania leg being really expensive.
