Couple of days ago I happened to saw the photos of North Albania. They amazed me with dramatic mountains views and I can't stop thinking about it. I didn't save link and unfortunately don't remember name of the area (?), only know it's in the North of country. Will be glad to hear if somebody is familiar with this region - live(d) or travelled there.

I am guessing you mean the area around Theth? I have read about it as well and see photos. It's becoming more and more popular but is a great off the beaten path experience in Europe I guess.
There should also be a nice ferry ride from Koman to Fierze along a river/lake and canyons. I did not have time to do that longer trip but if you happen to travel east-west through northern Albania, for example from Kosovo to the coast in Montenegro, that is really a great alternative!

Thank you, Mike for useful info. It seems Theth - was written there, really.
I will try to collect some info and hope to go there, may be even in this summer.
If someone of TP folks wanna do this trip together - will be glad to have a companion
