Hi everyone, the part to Thai is not set in stone yet. I'm planning to spend a week or two in Thai solo, any suggestion? Or if anyone want to join for a beer in there, it will be great too. Thanks guys.
April is the hottest part of the year in Thailand, a country that is normally hot and sticky, so air conditioning is good. Book some accommodation soon as possible as that is the busy season.
As you have little time, some days in Bangkok then maybe north to Chiang Mai or south to a beach resort or two?
AirAsia does cheapish flights to Hong Kong and Macau. A ferry runs between those destinations but do book the night before as ferries fill up quickly.
The New Chungking Mansions are central (harbour end of Nathan Road) and not too badly priced in Hong Kong. The subway makes getting around easy.
Thanks for the info. I should be in Thai on 4/8 but haven't really booked anything in there yet. I thought maybe I'll decide where to go when I get there.
