Hello! I am a nursing student looking to do some volunteering this summer for around 3 months in south east asia. I quite liked thailand but wouldnt mind venturing out to surrounding countries. Does any one have any reputable ones they have worked with or could point me in the direction of? I am obviously wary of the fees I see and there's only so much you can learn online! Thanks for your help in advance!
In Siem Riep, Cambodia there are a number of hospitals who'll take volunteers, try the The Angkor Hospital for Children. I know the folks who run the foundation. They really try to do a lot of good in the community.
You might also reach out to the owners of the Villa Siem Riep via e-mail. They always have their fingers on the pulse of good works and foundations in the area who'll work with volunteers.
