Korea

How much money should I save or spend while having a vacation of one month in korea.

It depends on what activities you want to do and where you're staying. My first month in Seoul, South Korea I spent $1300CAD. This included eating out at local Korean restaurants (very cheap), going out and drinking excessively every weekend, doing daily activities like bike riding along the Han River, and doing some serious shopping in Hongdae and Dongdaemun. I'm a big spender, though. I've never paid for hostels/hotels because my employers pays for that so I can't help there.

Korea is fairly cheap, though. Here is a breakdown of costs in Korean won/KRW (living in Seoul):

Breakfast: 2,500 to 5,000 depending on what you get (Koreans don't have breakfast food. They just eat kimchi, rice, and/or kimbap)
Lunch: 4,000 to 6,000
Dinner: 4,000 to 6,500
Beer (from 7-11 or GS25): small 2,000 / large 4,000
Soju (Korean vodka): small 1,500 / large 5,000
Water: 1,000
Club cover: some clubs are free, but cover can run between 10,000 to 30,000
Drinks in bars/clubs: 4,000 to 7,000
Subway: 1,000 per travel (buy a $5 metro pass it'll be easier for you)
Hostels/Hotels - I don't know but I hear it's cheap.

I hope this helps. Have fun! South Korea is an amazing place!
