any advise and tips or must do's will be gratefull. we are going to bali, for a month, then to aus for 1 month then newzealand for 2 and half months and to finish thailand/loas!
Bali, be careful of petty theft. It's a fairly small island so not a lot there.
Obviously you'll need a visa for Australia. It's a big country and most of what is worth visiting is on the east side. Distances are such that flying is sometimes a good option.
New Zealand, both islands are each about the size of England. There is public transport but a car makes things a lot easier (like Australia, they drive on the left), and you get to use cheap B&B accommodation outside of towns. Going from island to island, you drop your car off one side, go across as foot passengers and pick up a car from the same company on the other side. Two and a half months is rather long for NZ. If you are staying that long, pick up a Lonely Planet guide to NZ.
From Thailand you can get an AirAsia flight to Laos. They are like Ryanair. Also cheap flights around Thailand.
Don't leave it too late to book travel, etc.
