We're travelling to Darwin soon, and we've been looking into camping and walking around Nourlangie. We've managed to gather a lot of information, maps and itineraries about this, including the Barrk Sandstone walk. But we haven't worked out how to travel to/from and around the area by public transport. Are there busses? We'd rather do our own thing, and not join a package tour.

Jabiru is only 20km away from Nourlangie. Are there busses? Have people hitch-hiked from there? Or advertised on hostel noticeboards to share transport?
