Hey, im 24, female and from ireland. Travelling alone and in melbourne at the minute, i have a WHV but no sign of work yet even after applying for like 40 jobs thinking of just going straight up the coast instead as my flight home is at the end of august. Anyone who would be up for it? really out going and love being around people.
Hi I'm female, 24 from the UK in Sydney looking to travel up the east coast to Cairns or Darwin asap. I have been in Sydney staying with relatives for 4 months and would like to travel now. I've looked into getting the greyhound bus and going to Byron Bay, Surfers Paradise, Fraser Island, Whitsundays etc. I'm a fun laid back girl looking to hit the beaches, meet people, party, see the sights, have an adventure.
hey hey, aww im gutted your wanting to go so soon, cus ive only been in melbourne a couple of weeks and i do love it, just hard to meet people. Have u been to melbourne? its an amazing city! Do you have a working holiday visa? You could come down to melbourne and then we could always do the coast lol. Sounds a bit crazy but also sounds like we kind of want to do similar things. Im going to move into a hostel at the end of this week cus i think il be able to meet people that way, the hostel is in st kilda, you should google it, lol beaut place! Sure come on down here lol. have u money saved? id also love to see sydney!

Awww amazing! Well im going to see how the hostel seen goes so maybe stay here for a month or so and see how i get on getting a bar job, do you have a working visa? You could think about getting a job here or even coming here since you haven't been, but i wouldn't want you to feel like you had to come here if you didnt want too. Although ive heard the hostel thing is pretty good fun which is always good, kinda want to make a bit more money before i travel, when do you head back to the u.k? Hostels ive heard are the best way to meet people and thats whats on my mind at the minute. I'd love to see the great ocean road which isnt too far from melbourne also. What do you think?

Hi there, I've been in Melbourne since the start of march, stayed at habitat hq for first two weeks, which is a really good hostel for meeting people. Everyone has said its the best by far. I'm travelling alone, St Kilda is really nice but very expensive. Staying in an apartment with a girl I met in the hostel. It is very hard to find jobs may be a easier now as lots of people are leaving Melbourne now. I'm here till end if June n then hopefully will be travelling up north thinking Darwin. Looking for people to travel with, up for renting a campervan if I can get enough people who wanna do the same

Hey! I've been in Melbourne since October I stayed in Base St Kilda when I first arrived and met loads of lovely people! now i'm living with my boyfriend who is Irish, I met him in NZ. Anyway I came traveling alone originally and still haven't done the east coast whereas my boyfriend and others I know here already have. Thinking of doing it at the end of July if thats when you are thinking. Also feel free to contact, I met a big bunch of Irish people that are all on the beer come the weekends and you are more than welcome to join!
