I've decided to move this thread over to Travel Companions because, contrary to popular belief, travel partner connections have been successfully made on this website. For anyone interested - I highly recommend meeting in a public place to judge the situation and discuss details. But, I would recommend that to anyone looking for a travel companion they have not yet met.
