Hey there live in the North Island of NZ, in the Waikato, I know what its like trying to find places to stay etc even for the night or a quick stop over let me know if you get stuck we do have a pull out couch which is in our shed (with tv etc) if you were interested, for minimal charge, or what we call in NZ (Koha - which means donation)
