Never for me that's for sure! Although I do like the budget airlines and won't have a problem flying with Ryanair or any other budget airline, I would still choose to sit down. It's part of my holiday
It's what you call a 'bog standard' ticket.
I still love 'em though.

WTF... in their heads there's only one idea: to make room for more people to get more money, money, money...
Though it might be funny to see that I really don't expect it to come true.
It's what you call a 'bog standard' ticket.
I thought that was going to be the name for when you have to pay Ryanair to use the toilet...
I think more likely these lines explain why they announced this:
The publicity has certainly succeeded in distracting attention from Ryanair’s controversial introduction yesterday of ‘big baggage’ charge rises.
Checking in a suitcase will cost up to £80 over the summer.
The vertical seating idea also comes days after the airline announced it was slashing its winter services by 16 per cent and carrying 2million fewer passengers.
A classic way of distracting from bad news, and Ryanair has always been good at this. Smart!
Dont use them. They are a disgrace. Easyjet is much better.
I must admit that I do get impressed by the media frenzy O'Leary is capable of whipping up. If you search the news this morning this story is every where, all over the world, headlines in places thousands of miles from where Ryanair even flies to.
I fly Edinburgh to Dublin about 6 times a year. You are only in the air about 30 mins so, if this was true, I probably would give it a shot and see what it was like on a flight like that . . . I'm not convinced though.
It doesn't take long for others to follow suit...

Has that nasty man made everyone angry again? Poor babies.
Unlike buses and trains (standing room only folks!) we associate air travel with some kind of 'celebrity' status. We just need some perspective. Just be thankful that McDonalds isn't doing it.

You could say that about different train companies, but I wouldn't wait for the next one to arrive because I didn't like the seats on the one standing in front of me - especially if it was on time.
