I am going travelling 6 months up to a year and just want to know if anyone has any recommendations as to what size and make backpack i will need?
Im not too worried about the price i just want to get a decent one as i dont want it to rip or anything when im out there.

Try over in the , there are always discussions on backpacks good and bad.
If you can find a smaller pack that zips open most of the way, you will be very happy with that. I have a 40L North Face travel pack that I love because I can repack in just a few minutes.
