Hey - if I have a 1 year working visa do I still need to get a ESTA?
ESTA is a USA thing; completely unrelated to a WHV for Australia or New Zealand. If you mean an ETA / eVisitor (which is what regular tourists to Australia need), then no, you don't need that if you have a WHV.
