Hello,
So I am going to be studying at a university in England next year. I am a dual citizen (US/Irish) and have passports for both. The problem is that one passport (US) has my middle name, while the irish doesn't. To purchase a plane ticket I need the name to match on both the passport and the ticket. If i travel on my US passport and enter Europe I would need to get a visa which costs a lot. Is it possible to leave the US on my US passport and enter England on my Irish without raising any flags and getting through customs smoothly?
Thanks
Yes it is.
Leave the US by showing passport control your US passport. Enter the UK by using your Irish passport at passport control.
